The Experience

Let me give you an idea of what it looks like when we work together to see if we're a good fit. I have a laid back, candid approach to photography, prioritizing real moments over stiff, curated ones. I aim to reflect true-to-life colors and skin tones in my editing. I specialize in capturing candid moments throughout the day, be it a teary-eyed mom during speeches, friends having the time of their lives on the dancefloor, or a little hand-squeeze from grandpa after the ceremony. Don't worry, the "big" moments will be documented with just as much attention, too!

If you're thinking you're too awkward or stiff for photos, let me stop ya right there- when I'm behind the camera I strive to create a comfortable atmosphere that nurtures natural movement, playfulness, and laughter. I'll offer you prompts throughout our session that will allow you to move and interact naturally with your partner, rather than feeling rigid or overly posed. I have an upbeat personality and will do just about anything to document those genuine smiles and laughs. If you love to laugh, don't take yourself too seriously, and are down to get some dirt on your dress or run into the waves, we're gonna have a blast.

There's a lot that goes on "behind the scenes" of every photo delivered. Not only am I a photographer, but I'm your hype girl, location scouter, bag carrier, hair adjuster, outfit consultant, friend, and whatever else I need to be! I want you to have beautiful images to look back on for a lifetime, but even more than that I want you to feel like yourselves along the way.
